At times of milling process, wheat drops several of its fibre and nutrients. That is why; it is really significant to have 100% of whole wheat bread. This is good for balanced and more healthful than ‘white bread’.

3 Types of Bread

The following are some ingredients of different loaves. Then choose, if which one are healthier for your physical condition.

Loaf#1: It contains lecithin, vinegar, wheat germ, wheat gluten, yeast, hydrogenated soybean oil, natural millers brand, ground raisins, butter, salt, raisin syrup, honey and water. In addition, it has unbleached supplemented wheat flour and full of cracked wheat.

Loaf#2: It consists of vinegar, sea salt, yeast, canola oil, honey, ‘stoned ground’ whole wheat flour, as well as multigrain cereal (soy flour, wheat germ, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, cornmeal, rye and rolled oats).

Loaf#3: It has diglycerides, mono, potassium bromated, calcium sulfate, ammonia choride, fungal enzymes, nonfat milk, cornstarch, soy flour, whey, corn flour, salt, yeast, soybean oil, corn syrup, water, as well as enriched bleached flour (riboflavin, thiamin mononitrate, niacin, iron and barley malt).

So, did you ‘make’ the ‘right’ choice?

Loaf#1: In point of fact, some of the ingredients are not so bad for your health like cracked wheat and unbleached wheat flour.  But it contains ‘enriched’ wheat flour or white flour, which means, this is poor in fibre and vitamins.

Loaf#2: Actually, this is the better choice, because it has whole wheat flour and seven grain cereal, which means, it has more healthful value of ‘whole grains’ on the loaf. Besides, this is thicker and heavier compared to others.

Loaf#3: The reality is that this is a bit spongy white bread. Aside from that, this is only has a poor in fibre and vitamins, which is not really good for your health.

In conclusion

Be careful in choosing loaves for at home. Then read carefully the written labels of the product and do not be misled with the packaging, which tend to pass-off the ‘stuff of lies’ as the ‘staff of life’.
